Builders, Inc. knows the value of great employees. Our Build "U" The Training Center offers trainees and current employees classes and hands on learning experience in the building maintenance field.

The technical service curriculum at Build "U" is designed to be versatile and "user-friendly". Our formula of hands-on training from the ground up allows us to educate individuals from "entry-level" to "experienced" in the different facets of community service and maintenance. Because the property management field is in a constant state of change, we have included a variety of skills on the curriculum for management training. While each level of employee in the management training will require similar skills in customer service, leasing and computer proficiency, there are many other facets to the training and expertise in this area. Some of the material covered will include:

Building Employees for the Future...
Individuals can apply for a "trainee" position with Builders, Inc. indicating their desired area of expertise. After a careful review of the application, a decision will be made based on the abilities of the applicant and their suitability to the desired position and training. Following the orientation program, each trainee will be assigned a mentor.The mentor will work with the trainee one-on-one to instruct them in the ins and outs of apartment community maintenance and/or management. Because different mentors have different areas of expertise, it is possible that one trainee could have multiple mentors. This system is meant to enhance the trainee's knowledge and education in all areas. We want each trainee to work hard as they progress to a full-time position within our company. As a full-time employee, you are Builders, Inc.! We trust the educational foundation you build will make you an asset to our company.

For over 60 years, Builders, Inc. has been dedicated to the training and career development of each of its over 120 employees. One of the values of our company is to "strive for employee satisfaction by supporting each person to develop their individual talents and reach their goals".

We felt this could best be achieved by providing an educational and developmental environment in which our current and future employees can seek the necessary training to do their jobs in a safe and efficient manner, and to further enhance their current positions by gaining advanced knowledge in other areas of expertise.
